Paddling

 0997.JPG

On a whim, a bought a whitewater kayak after a mountaineering trip in Washington figuring down the road I’d love to give it a shot. Soon after, I partnered up with a fellow kayaker while in college who taught me all the basics: rolling, self rescue, etc. Post college brought me to Duluth, Minnesota where I was blessed with an active and accepting boating community, numerous rivers teeming with whitewater opportunities, and an addiction that has completely consumed my life. Since then, I’ve never looked back.Check out Kayak Boat Riding for updated trip reports, photos, tall tales, and various ramblings of the aquatic kind.
