Climbing

My obession began when I was eighteen. My cousin Pete and I rambled with our curiosities on our first of many road trips, our destination: Colorado. Our only plans were to do some hiking, car camping, and “climb” the Keyhole Route on Long’s Peak, a dying McMurray family tradition. Having gained the summit early that morning, Pete and I sat there amazed, letting the mountains forever take us over. From then on my passion for climbing grew from simply hiking in the hills to full on mountaineering expeditions to Patagonia. Even to this day many years later, I still learn from the hills.
