The overall mission of this web-space is to tell a few stories for myself and my friends about the experiences we’ve shared in hopes to convey some of our feelings about the passions that have ultimately captivated us. These photos, stories, and experiences have all been personal. They are and probably never will be meant for publication, these are personal exploitations of particular feelings and the experiences that they coincide with.
These stories, photos, and experiences describe my life, the lives of my dearest, and a few of the places we’ve meandered in search of adventure. If we strain ourselves to travel extensively, run difficult rivers, climb high mountains, and expend vast amounts of time, energy, and care, then we have a responsibility to inform others of the best things we found, what exactly has inspired or terrified us, and what we’ve learned as a result. The goal with Carpe Gnar is to pass such things on and to encourage others to forge ahead in their own ways.
